He doesn't really like to travel very much so he doesn't mind sending us off to the east coast to "vacation" with both of our mothers and all the kids and others as well. It's not something I would have considered pre-children. I am grateful for a dh that doesn't like to fight either, and for my parents that didn't either when we were children.
