Yes. Sometimes it's a "I don't realize how big I am because I grew 4 inches and my feet are now 3 sizes bigger than they were." And sometimes it's a "If I don't win then everyone else cheated." Or sometimes a "We were so excited that we ran into each other and it's the other person's fault for not watching where they were going."

I really think it's a big family issue. The big ones just don't realize that they've gotten bigger and the little ones just want to keep up even though that's impossible. Oh, and the middle ones know just enough to get into trouble with both camps.LOL

Blessings,

Posie - I wondered about that story. I'm shocked to have married such a wild man. How did he ever turn into such a gentleman? Thanks for filling us in on the details.

Hilarious!!!

Lisa - um, yeah that would have me outlawing dodgeball as well. :) I am NOT a fan of dodge ball. I don't know how it morphed into dodgeball. When I was out there they were playing a sort of tackle football game with teams. Of course, I'm not sure that is any 'gentler' than dodgeball. There were just as many tears with that one as dodge ball.

Anyone else have lots of tears during family games? Does someone always have to get hurt??

For the record, Tim, you bet me that I couldn't fit into the dryer...of course, I had to prove you wrong so I climbed in, you gave into temptation and let me do a quick spin....and then let me out for fear that I would rat on you to mom!

After licking the freezer shelf on a dare (in Germany; I do remember that!), you would've thought I would have learned but I must admit I was a slow learner when it came to my big brother...Tim, that is. Mark was my rescuer!

Great entry, Tim! I love your sense of humor.

There were five of us growing up and we were all very close in age, there was always someone to play with. We once had a summer long game of tag, where we used an old inner-tube as "safe". It sat on the lawn and was only moved when Dad mowed. That patch of grass was brown and in the shape of a donut!

I love these rules and will keep them for future inspiration for the kiddoes!

Thanks for a fun read!

I loved this blog, Tim. Thanks for being specific about the rules. It looks like LOTS of fun. I'm thrown by the 41 yr. old age tho- WHO in the world could be THAT old in the Edgren clan? Oh, my.

You have a wonderful family!! I love all the blogs, entries, and esp the pictures!!

Pozie- Jerry's brother is 4 years older than he is and his sister is 9 years younger than J. is. I have heard reference to things they did to Janice- don't know FOR SURE, but suspect much truth to the tales. I'm glad you survived!

Love all of you. Aunt Kate
