Very cool! I have always been interested in Photography but even more so since blogging . . especially the makeup blogs. I need to find a way to make the eye color not look so sparkly while using the flash. Any ideas?

Many years ago, photographer friends sent out Christmas photos, and my friend told me that her bottom was "shaved" down. This was before the era of digital cameras for the general public, and I was properly impressed!

We love this book at our house - it's one we refer back to again and again. I've never saved the photos in series like you did - that was really interesting to see the difference in each step! Super cute photo of your daughter too!

What a difference. Beautifully done.
I've been looking online for tutorials for Photoshop Elements 5, but haven't been very successful. Thanks for the info on the book, I'll have to check it out.

I like the final photo a lot. The highlights in her hair make it look like the sun is shining down on her & giving you lighting from the front. At least IMHO. :-) Have fun with your new book!

You're going to be airbrushing things left and right now, aren't you? How do we know that it's really your kids?? ha! ha!

Seriously though, you make it sound so easy and fun! I will definately check out the software and book! Thanks for the idea, Kath!
