We didn’t “kid proof” our home either! I love the WALK AWAY phrase…. I’ll have to remember that to use on the grandkids (LOL).. can’t believe I’m even thinking about the possibility of grandkids one day.. I’m still MUCH TOO YOUNG, you know!

I love the phrase ‘walk away’… and boy would it get a lot of mileage at our place! I firmly believe in “life-proofing” kids too and loved your take on the topic - great post!

I’ve been thinking on the self-control (or lack thereof) issue for a week or so. Ever since someone told me that they had “no self-control” and that I should basically get over thinking they should have some.
Good post, good plan, because we need the realization that we CAN walk away. And begin to EXERCISE self-control.
