I think everyone has those days, Kathy. Don’t be too hard on yourself. I find on my gloomy days, Brian is quite upbeat also. I think it is God’s way of balancing out the parents in the house and making sure one partner is strong for the other partner. Let Tim minister on those days, just like I’m sure you minister to him on his gloomier days.

Love love love this blog. I get the grumpies and gloomies, too. How dear of Tim to read the Bible to the kids. I recall his doing that in Traverse City. Yea Tim- what a godly daddy he is.

Oh Kathy, I just love reading of how you and Tim parent your children… “Who dares not call for The Chapter?” I love how you make God part of your every-day fun, how you are teaching your children to weave him into the very fabric of their lives. I pray that we do as well with ours!

Oh, boy, do I understand grouchy-gloomy days when the NW rain sets in. Not the rain so much as the cold and darkness. I need light and sun. Though shopping can help, too!
