Greg & I signed up to serve the free food (hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and water). Since Ronald (our cousin Kristi's hubby; she's in Iraq) came to spend the weekend with us he very graciously took my place instead. I watched Jacob and his friend Mikayla as her parents along with Greg and Ronald ended up working for 3 hours as not enough workers did their duty... They ran out of food (5,000 plus people) and finally were done at 9 a.m. We watched the great fireworks which lasted for 45 minutes and were really good this year! We love doing this as we get to see great fireworks yet visit with our Sunday School class also! And brownies, can hardly get more American than that here. We even had a small fireworks display at CDM too. Then of course we all sang The Star Spangled Banner as loudly as we possibly could. hehehe.
