  1. That looks delicious! And very happy, too!

Does the Easter Bunny usually not visit your home or is that a budget related non-visit? lol

  2. What a beautiful lamb!

We had a butter lamb from Steph’s friend Diane. It was cute- and real butter. ha.

    Love you Edgrens. Aunt Kate

  3. No Easter Bunny visit at our place either.
Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa get all the credit for the candy and goodies the kids have in their baskets!

We also discovered that we were out of icing, so no cake (lamb or otherwise) at our house this year, but Cindy and the girls did make some kind of resurrection crescent roll creation with marshmallows and cinnamon.

I love that God (and Jesus) gave some instructions for celebrations and remembrances to include food. It’s like he KNOWS us or something.

  4. Cute idea! I made a carrot cake (get it? rabbits => carrots?), but then again there are no kids in our house so I don’t have to avoid the Easter Bunny (which I would if I had kids) and could make that joke.

  5. I remember a lamb cake that my grandma made one year – very yummy! And if I have to eat lamb, I’d rather it be this kind anyway.

Hope you had a blessed Easter!

  6. We had a pretty good Easter, we went to church, walked on the beach in the snow, and threw some snowballs. Happy Spring! The irony of it all.
