Good Night

Having been convicted about the lack of self-discipline in my life AND been reminded about the priorities which are important to me, I think I will forgo my favorite evening past time – BLOGGING – and go to sleep at a decent hour.

Thank you for all your kind words and prayers. You are all so dear to me. It is such a blessing to have friends and family (and random internet strangers) encouraging me.

Works for Me Wednesday is Backwards Day this week so be prepared to share with me your words of wisdom.

I’m not sure on what topic yet, but it will be something powerfully good.

Kath

  1. Hi, dear dear Katherine. Here’s an idea- how about having a one-day-a-week blogging time?

I want you to get your sleep!! Your family needs you alert and cheerful!!

    Nite nite. Aunt Kate

  2. YAY for you and self discipline. It is one of my worst weaknesses. (ie…you aren’t alone) Keep up the good work. I’ll say a prayer for you.

  3. Kathy, you are an encouragement to me as I see you cutting back on your blogging time. All too often, my night is sucked away. Everyone else is in bed/upstairs by 10 p.m. I often don’t get to bed until 1. This means I get up late in the morning, and everything else for the day feels rushed. And the days have a habit of repeating…

I’m liking the 365 challenge because although I feel the need to post daily, I can be brief. But even that’s challenging, as I’d like to post more often, longer–and read all those blogs that I just don’t get a chance to.

But you KNOW you won’t regret this self imposed discipline. Maybe you’ll have more time down the road when your dc are grown… and if not, well, you still won’t be sorry that you put blogging time aside for now.

(I need to repeat that to myself every night at midnight…)
